The Mariners have a steady mix of juniors and freshmen expected to occupy the lineup from 106-138. Among them are returning starters Ryan Angelos, Nick Tardibuono, and Anthony DeRosa. Key freshmen Walter Orellana, Vinny Fichera, Ryan O'Donnell, and Demetrius Fitzpatrick.
Seniors Dan DaSilva and Kyle Lake are the returning wins leaders and will anchor the middle of the lineup, while the bulk of the upperweights will be comprised mostly of newcomers.
North is coming off a difficult season which saw them register just three wins. There's a pretty even mix here of experience and talented newcomers looking to make an immediate impact. With some good depth in the lower and middle weights, the Mariners should also have lineup flexibility. The schedule is tough with the A-South slate and some difficult non-division opponents, but it should pay off during the post-season as North tries to have a strong showing at the Districts.
Wrestler To Watch - (Sr) Dan DaSilva
DaSilva, the returning team leader in wins, was a win away from qualifying for the Regions in 2011. He should compete for the team lead in wins this season, and will be one of a few contenders for the Mariners to earn a trip to the Regions.

The Mariners have a steady mix of juniors and freshmen expected to occupy the lineup from 106-138. Among them are returning starters Ryan Angelos, Nick Tardibuono, and Anthony DeRosa. Key freshmen Walter Orellana, Vinny Fichera, Ryan O'Donnell, and Demetrius Fitzpatrick.
Seniors Dan DaSilva and Kyle Lake are the returning wins leaders and will anchor the middle of the lineup, while the bulk of the upperweights will be comprised mostly of newcomers.
North is coming off a difficult season which saw them register just three wins. There's a pretty even mix here of experience and talented newcomers looking to make an immediate impact. With some good depth in the lower and middle weights, the Mariners should also have lineup flexibility. The schedule is tough with the A-South slate and some difficult non-division opponents, but it should pay off during the post-season as North tries to have a strong showing at the Districts.
Wrestler To Watch - (Sr) Dan DaSilva
DaSilva, the returning team leader in wins, was a win away from qualifying for the Regions in 2011. He should compete for the team lead in wins this season, and will be one of a few contenders for the Mariners to earn a trip to the Regions.
